I have spent the past 23 years in public education as a classroom teacher, technology integrator, administrator, and online instructor.  Now I am using my knowledge of curriculum, instruction, executive skills, and online learning to help students and families take control of their academic journeys.  

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.  I am certified in the areas of K-8 Teaching,  School Administration, and General Special Education.  

The Untethered Student grew out of the COVID-19 pandemic as I saw so many families struggling with remote learning.  I knew I could use my knowledge and expertise to help guide students and families to make remote learning a more positive experience for everyone.  

As students returned to classrooms, the need for Executive Functioning Coaching became quite clear and was added to our menu of services.
